NoteHenry and Elizabeth had two children, one who died within six months of Elizabeth's death, and one other. No record of names, however, has been found.1
DeathShe died in 1874 in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas, United States.1

"Uncle Stephen Davis was Grandpa Nathan Davis’ brother. He lived at Huntington Park in 1915.

In Davis family, there was a Narragansett squaw quite a ways back. Uncle Stephen was proud of his Indian blood.

Stephen married Phoebe Bates. Uncle Stephen’s son in Littleton, Colorado lived next to Mrs. Nuttings house – Fred was his name – Stephen and Phoebe’s son. Army family and Fred moved around quite a bit. He was a Captain at that time. They had 2 daughters probably stationed at Fort Logan.

Phoebe Bates Davis taught school in Trenton, WI. She urged Nathan Cook Harvey to enlist in Civil War. She lived with his wife during war. Fred Army officer in 1st WW."
